VS PINK & CHICTOPIA COLLAB !

When I think of a definition for Victoria's Secret PINK, the first three words that come to my mind are feminine, fun, and beautiful! PINK represents our inner girly-girl. So when I was asked by the lovely people at Chictopia to collaborate with them & VS and style one of PINK's new Eclectic Crew sweaters- I definitely jumped at the chance! I styled my lovely lace-shoulder PINK crew in a way that I think embodies the ultimate PINK girl- a flowy chiffon skirt, a white flower headband, and some platform wedges. Nothing too fussy, and everything girly.

My carefree nature definitely was living it up in this outfit all day. I also took a small cue from my Parisian streetstyle inspiration..sweatshirts mixed with feminine skirts have been everywhere this season. Not to mention, it's the world's softest, most comfortable sweater I have EVER worn. My outfit was perfect for our 65 degree weather with a little wind. I even got so many compliments on the pretty lace shoulders.

PS: An older man wandering around told me "for the low low price of 50 cents you can take a picture with the cadillac of all bikes!!!" so I gave him 5$ and took a picture with the only bike to ever have a flamingo wind chime on the front. Sometimes you just gotta go with the flow!

You can see my look a long with the rest of the Chictopia bloggers who styled their own version of the sweater by clicking HERE, or by going to chictopia.com!

Union Jack

I've pulled out my siren red blazer from the depths of my closet. I've never been one who is partial to the color red.. but with black and white, it kind of feels right (rhyme unintended). The red blazer makes the black & white Union Jack sweater seem all that more graphic, which I very much enjoy.

I just paired it with a few of my staples.. the black buckle boots, leather shorts, a black beanie, and a rhinestone necklace. Definitely a brighter outfit than usual, but it was a nice change of pace. The sweater was another good F21 find from a couple of months ago. Do you all ever have any luck there? Anyway.. I truly hope the weather begins to warm up soon so I can start bringing some new color back into my wardrobe.

I hope you all have a wonderful Monday (paradox not intended) hehe.

Spotted

This outfit was so fun for me and was just something I threw together a couple of days ago without really thinking about it. It seems those kind of outfits always end up being some of my favorites! I threw on a simple leopard crew neck over a collared shirt with a gold chain necklace, added my favorite shiny gold skirt, a chain and leather belt, and some black leather ankle booties.. oh and my essential black hat. I am definitely going to need to invest in a new black hat.

Overall I hope you all like it! I tried out a larger image size in this blog post and I really enjoy it. Even though it's not much of a difference, I don't really know why I hadn't done this before. However, does it annoy you all? Are they too big.. to many photos..etc etc. Please let me know (:  I know it is a small detail but.. I am all about small details.

It's currently snowing so time to bundle up and do some Friday shopping! Have a fabulous Friday!!!

Blushing

You know when you buy an item of clothing and you can tell that you are probably not going to ever take it off? That's basically how I feel about this little pink furry gem. Slightly muppet inspired is the best way to describe it with super long bell-shaped sleeves and extremely warm... it's just, perfect. The light pink color reminds me of blushing cheeks hehe.

I paired my new sweater crush with another favorite of mine, this rainbow striped crop with a mint green blouse and along with my signature black skinnies and my Jeffrey Campbell Cleata. I also threw in a couple necklaces for good measure.

All these lovely colors make me want Springtime.. like right now. Also, some painted Easter Eggs would be greatly appreciated..

Metal

I've been feeling a little boho lately and I figured it was time to return to my dark and spiked roots.. ahhh comfort zone. This black jacket was a random Levi's jacket that I DIY-ed over the summer.. I feel like I've mentioned that before, so if I have I apologize. Otherwise, I just kept the look super simple with my favorite denim shorts, a huge Grey turtleneck, my favorite gunmetal necklace , and of course my Spiked Jeffrey's. My boyfriend is getting sick of me wearing these shoes (because I really do have many other options).. so perhaps I will retire them for a little while ):

The random rainbow showed up in my raw images after the shoot and I thought it was pretty much the coolest thing ever.. not sure how it happened.. probably some lens/lighting mistake that worked out in my favor.

I am so sick of wearing tights though! I am ready for spring and summer.. what about you all? I bet you're ready too.

Spark your Soul, Set it Free

I've been thinking a lot lately about happiness and how blogging makes me feel so great...Not that it's my "purpose" or whatever.. but it feels so nice to finally be able to have that creative outlet that is appreciated by so many people. I want to say thank you to everyone who takes the time to comment and message me, even just scrolling through my posts... You guys are truly awesome and make me unquestionably ecstatic.

I had quite a lovely time shooting these photos today because I have been anticipating wearing this outfit for weeks & I finally took the pre-spring plunge yesterday.. I went total boho rocker hip vibe not on purpose but it just kind of happened as I stacked my bangles and gold cuffs one by one.. This dress from Urban Outfitters is so amazing.. The little white daisies that stick out are beautiful and the mesh top..ugh what a dream.

I paired it with another one of my favorite hats, a slouchy knit cardigan, lots of jewelry, and my favorite Jeffy platforms. I feel like me and Mr. Campbell could maybe be on a first name basis by now.. MAYBE. Hehe. Have a great weekend guys & dolls !!!
